Location

The area of Hillhead is situated between the beautiful River Dart and the coast of Brixham. The coastal town of Brixham with its marina and beautiful harbour is within easy driving distance located just down the hill, whilst the nearby estuary village of Kingswear is even closer, being only minutes away by car in the beautiful Dart valley. Kingswear, which has a historic church, is home to the Royal Dart Yacht Club and is well known for its steam trains that run alongside the estuary towards Paignton. There are a number of village Inns, all having a reputation for splendid food, and there is also a privately run marina. Car and passenger ferries enable easy access to the port town of Dartmouth on the other side of the estuary.Dartmouth offers a larger selection of shops and local restaurants.

Directions

From Dartmouth, cross the River ferry and continue for approximately 2 miles until you reach the turning signposted for Hillhead. At the mini roundabout, turn right towards Brixham. After a short distance turn right signed Radicombe Lodge. Hillside Lodge will shortly be seen on the left hand side.
