The well-respected Minster and St Mary's private schools are also situated in Lincoln.

Newark train station, approximately 16 miles, from has a direct train to London (Kings Cross from 70 minutes), while Retford station (approximately seven miles away) is also on the London to Edinburgh Intercity Link and there are good road links via the A1, A15, M180 and M1. The Nottingham East Midlands airport is approximately 50 miles away.
