Description

"Lilac House" Soutergate. Ulverston. LA12 7ER

Here is a truly delightful Cottage right in the heart of this lovely Market Town,. It is believed to date from c1680 and it has a host of original features including exposed beams and solid timber floors. There is a smart Entrance Hallway with doors leading off to the beautiful Lounge and the Snug as well as a very useful and spacious, Larder. There is a gracious, formal, Dining Room and a fully fitted ( expensive) Kitchen. The Kitchen has a cooker, hob, hood, washer, fridge, and a microwave, as well as ample worktops and a host of storage floor and wall cupboards. There is ample room for a small table and chairs for less formal dining.

On the Upper Floor is a very roomy Landing from which there are doors leading to the 4 splendid Bedrooms ( Master is enormous!) and to the excellent Bathroom which has a range of fitted units as well as a full white 3-piece suit ( Jacuzzi Bath), and a large Shower cubicle. The bathroom is simply lovely. A further permanent stairway leads to the Loft room which is huge, and has exposed timbers. This room is quite massive and would certainly be a teenagers dream "hideout".

"Lilac House" is warmed by a full gas-fired Combi Central Heating System as well as the wonderful cast iron wood burner in the "Snug". Double Glazing is fitted throughout, of course.

Outside to the rear, with access via the Patio Doors in the "Snug" , is a beautiful, and sunny, Patio.

So "Lilac House" is extremely attractive and in sparkling condition throughout. Simply Tickety Boo!
