Cuglieri, old 18th-century dwelling with a unique charm and strong character, typical of the old manor houses of the time; at just 20 minutes to the most beautiful beaches of Oristano area, a stone's throw from all the amenities, with views and entrances on two parallel streets among the most typical of this small town. The house still keeps intact the original features of the time such as the vaulted ceilings, the slate stairs, the original floors of the late 18th Century, the large and bright windows in addition to the old skylights and it has large, well-lit and easy to modify spaces if you wish to convert the house into a tourist accommodation.
On the ground floor there is a welcoming hall, a bathroom, a large lounge and a double bedroom with double windows; a further double room overlooking the quiet Via Carlo Alberto is enhanced by architectural elements of the original time; the first floor is composed of a very precious lounge lit by an old skylight, a very luminous dining room due to the two French doors overlooking Corso Umberto; the kitchen with its character due to the wooden ceiling with exposed beams, is enhanced by a stone fireplace; the rooms are peculiarly enriched by the vaulted ceilings and the original 18th-century floors. A wooden staircase located in the dining room allows access to the second floor where we find a spacious and panoramic terrace from which you can enjoy wonderful sunsets over the sea all year round. On the second floor there are also two large attic rooms with a recently built wooden ceiling with exposed beams, which can be used as storage rooms.
In the basement, also accessible from the inside, there are several rooms in the past being used as storage rooms for grain, wine, oil and wood, today partly used as utility rooms equipped with insulating doors to store the boiler and the oil tank for the central heating; the front part with car access from the main street (Corso Umberto), is characterized by very high ceilings enhanced by elegant arches and still keeps intact the old basalt stone floors; this part of the building, with the necessary changes, could be converted into a commercial room. The house is in good condition and is equipped with oil heating throughout the house.
