J & S Immo is a locally owned and operated agency. We are situated in Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure, a lively market town in the heart of the sunny Poitou-Charente region. We sell all types of property in the local vicinity Montemboeuf, Roumazieres, La Rochefoucauld, Chabanais, Mansle and Confolens, as well as Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure itself. Our personal service and extensive experience helps purchasers find their ideal French property; be that a chateau, riverside mill, bed-and-breakfast opportunity, lock-up-and-leave holiday cottage or even a fishing lake. We also cover the areas surrounding the lakes of Grand Lacs de Haute-Charente and the Perigord Limousin regional park.

Chasseneuil-Sur-Bonnieure is just 25 minutes north of the regions capital Angouleme, and 45 minutes from Limoges. Both cities have a TGV train station and an airport. Angouleme is a charming city of art and history, with superb architecture and good shopping. It hosts a variety of regular events, including a yearly film festival, food festivals, the circuit des ramparts’ famous classic-car-racing weekend, the renowned annual comedy festival and much more. Limoges also has a lot to offer and is famous for its porcelain. Its airport offers discounted flights to and from the UK and other destinations, and is just 40 minutes from our office.

Just 25 minutes south-east of Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure are the borders of the national park area of the Dordogne-Limousin, with its breath-taking countryside and famous market towns of Nontron and Piegut-Pluviers. To the south-west are outstandingly pretty villages, such as Aubeterre sur Dronne. Approximately 45 minutes north is the city of Poitiers, which also has an airport. Bordeaux is 90 minutes south-west and beaches of La Rochelle and Royan are less than two hours away.

Simon Hammer: British, with a background in engineering and has lived in the area for almost two decades. Much of this time he has worked as a real-estate agent. He has bought and extensively renovated two properties, and has managed many other building projects.

Justine Viroulaud: French, with years of experience in French property transactions and a degree in French property law and related subjects. Born locally, Justine knows the area and the people like the back of her hand.
