Description

"We have loved living in Southville over the last few years because of its central location and community spirit. We are lucky that North Street is on our doorstep with so many great cafes, restaurants and pubs. We particularly love going to watch the rugby at Ashton Gate Stadium, popping for walks at Ashton Court or along the harbour, and heading out for dinner at some of our favourite restaurants like Cor and Souk Kitchen. It has been the perfect place for our first family home."

Lime Road is a popular residential road in Southville, one of the most sought after neighbourhoods in South Bristol. Close by there are two footbridges across the river to reach the Harbourside area of the city and further onto Wapping Wharf, an area which has fast become one of Bristol’s most iconic and desirable settings for living, eating and socialising. The area around Gaol Ferry Steps is now home to several stylish homes, trendy bars and boutique shops within both Cargo One and Cargo Two, which came as two phases of retail and restaurant space, largely occupied for local independent businesses. Southville itself has long been one of the most popular parts of Bristol to live in. North Street is very nearby and is home to a number of bars and eateries such as The Tobacco factory, the popular Souk Kitchen, Cor as well as highly regarded cafes such as Sweven and Marks Bread. Crossing the river from Southville, you are just minutes from all Bristol City Centre has to offer. For those who work in the city, the commute by foot or bike is short and painless, whilst the journey home after an evening in a city is also straightforward and advantageous on foot rather than negotiating city centre traffic. For young families, this house on Lime Road is within easy reach of two of South Bristols most sought after Primary Schools: Ashton Gate (OFSTED rated Outstanding) and Southville Primary (Ofstead rated Good)

A stylish four bedroom, four storey family home quietly located on Lime Road in Southville. On entry, you are welcomed into the charming home with the entrance porch leading to the lounge with bay window, original floorboards, log burner and built-in-cupboards. The dining room also is laid with stripped floorboards and has patio doors to the garden. To the rear of the property is the contemporary fitted kitchen and breakfast room with engineered oak flooring and a utility/wc. Outside, the private garden has been pathed throughout offering a good space for hosting a BBQ and includes raise flowerbeds which have been fitted to add some colour in the summer time.

The first floor accommodates a spacious bedroom to the front with a bay window, a second double bedroom overlooking the garden and the third bedroom utilised as a nursery. The family bathroom has been updated with tasteful tiles including a three piece suite with shower over bath. The second floor hosts the master bedroom offering a sizable floor space for an additional bathroom. The loft offers far reaching views towards north Bristol towards Clifton Suspension Bridge and Hotwells.
