Interesting Information On Clyst Honiton - Interestingly, Clyst Honiton used to be on the original main A30 road from Exeter to Honiton but was bypassed in the 1990s and another bypass to the east of the village now links the new A30 to Cranbrook and the surrounding developments. The Parish is surrounded clockwise from the north by the parishes of Broadclyst, Rockbeare, Aylesbeare, Farringdon and Sowton. Nearby pubs/dining venues include the local village pub The Duke of York, The Black Horse (traditional family pub/restaurant within an easy 10 minute level walk) and the ‘The Jack in The Green’ which boasts two AA Rosettes and numerous accolades from independent critics as one of the best restaurants in Devon. The Oriental Promise is a popular Chinese restaurant with takeaway service just beyond 'The Jack in the Green'.
Clyst Honiton has an active and friendly community, well supported Parish Council, annual village fete' and a park with children's' play area.
We understand that there are proposed plans being considered for a neighbouring residential development with community centre and retail units, and a nearby strip of ground to be transformed into a country park with link to Cranbrook.
Outside - The property comes with landscaped south facing garden frontage providing attractive suntrap seating areas. A rear courtyard style garden provides an enclosed low maintenance area of outside space laid to gravel and decking with a pedestrian right of way leading onto Ship Lane.

I am not in the habit of giving 5* but on this occasion I am.
I have had the pleasure of dealing with Burgoynes twice over the past 15yrs.
Firstly I sold my property and remember how helpful and efficient they were then.
This time, coincidentally, I bought from them and had the same amazing treatment but as a buyer!
Big thank you to Jemma and Steph who are a credit to the company. Kept me informed and nothing was ever any trouble.
So lovely to have 5* treatment these days.

From start to finish, the team at Burgoyne's were excellent. At the initial viewing they clearly knew the property well and showed us around, rather than simply letting us in and allowing us to look around (which was not always the case for us when viewing properties). The communication from then on was excellent, always very responsive either by phone or by e-mail, and they kept us in the loop throughout. This was our first house purchase, and we were very pleased (and pleasantly surpised) by how smooth and stress free it was. We would use Burgoyne's again, and have recommended them to others already.
