Luz de Tavira is a lovely village with easy access to one of the best beaches of the East Algarve, Praia do Barril, which is only 5 minutes from the house. The charming town of Tavira is no further than 10 minutes and has many good quality restaurants, cafés, bars and larger supermarkets, banks, post office, pharmacies etc. Faro airport can be reached within 45 minutes drive. Let´s not forget to mention Fuzeta and Olhão which are also nearby and very popular for the great vibe they have nowadays.

The property consists of two fully habitable houses with each their own entrance. One on the top and one below. The top part of the house is accessible via an outdoor staircase and has a kitchen, two bedrooms a large living room and a bathroom. Furthermore you can relax outside on the spacious rooftop terrace from where you can see the beautiful Algarvian Barrocal on the north side and have a distant sea view on the south side, overlooking the countryside in which the property is situated. The main piece of land of the property is situated on the south side and has many fruit trees like tangerines, nesperas, bananas, oranges and a small private grape vine. The huge avocado tree is one of the favorite places for the current owners to sit in the shade overlooking their beautiful land. A little further south, many olive trees have been planted in neat rows and can be harvested once a year so you can produce your own olive oil!

Formerly the old water basin was used to irrigate the land, but it has now been fitted with a pump and turned into a lovely pool area with a surrounding cobble stone terrace to relax in the sun after taking a dip. Wow, completely surrounded by olive trees you have full privacy here, what an idyllic area this is! The land is completely flat and with more than 9000 square meters large enough to keep farm animals if you like. The land is irrigated by dam water which is very cheap and of good quality, while the houses are connected to mains water and additionally there also is a borehole.
