Location

Winforton is an attractive village on the A438 Brecon to Hereford Road, approximately 15 miles from Hereford and Leominster, 7 miles from Kington and Hay-on-Wye). It sits on the northern edge of the Wye Valley in an area of high scenic value with wonderful country walks and bridal paths in the immediate vicinity

Walk Inside

The entrance to the bar and restaurant exudes rustic charm, with exposed beams, a partly wooden and carpeted floor, and stone walls. On the left, a stone fireplace houses a wood-burning stove, while a second fireplace with a wooden mantle graces the right side. Pub-style tables and chairs provide seating for approximately 45 patrons, complemented by an appealing brick and timber bar counter. To the right, a door leads to the restrooms, including facilities for both ladies and gentlemen, with an additional room suitable for disabled access. Adjacent is a storeroom and a doorway leading to a staircase accessing the B&B and a side entrance. Behind the bar, a staircase descends to the basement cellar, opening into a hallway that grants access to utility facilities and a fully equipped catering kitchen, as well as the owner’s accommodation through another door.

The owner’s private living quarters, situated on the first floor, feature an open-plan kitchen/living room, two double bedrooms, and a third bedroom currently serving as a laundry room, alongside a shower room. An additional door provides access to the B&B accommodations. The bed and breakfast lodging, meticulously presented, offer three double bedrooms, each boasting an en-suite shower room. The first bedroom includes a built-in double wardrobe, adding to the convenience and comfort of the space.

Walk Outside

At the front of the property, there's a welcoming seating area, while to the right lies a spacious car park, providing ample parking space. Beyond the car park, on the right side, is a generously sized garden area ideal for various leisure activities. Towards the rear, a lawned garden extends, accompanied by a double garage. Notably, planning permission has been secured for the construction of a three-bedroom property on the designated plot within this area.
