This southwest facing property is situated in the Armorique National Park at the end of a dead-end lane adjoining the forest. It is a very peaceful location yet only a 5 minute drive from the popular lakeside town of Huelgoat with its daily amenities.



The Cottage:

The door opens into a dining room. There is a cozy lounge area with log burning stove and a door from here leads to the 2 bedrooms. A fitted kitchen opens onto the back garden. The shower room is also located off the dining room.



There is a cellar area under the property and a small garage and car port attached to the side which are useful for storage.



The gite:

The gite is accessed through its own entrance at the side of the building where there is a small terrace to enjoy the sun and a morning coffee. Guests have their own garden area too.



On entering the gite there is a light, spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen area. Two double bedrooms and a modern shower room complete the internal layout.



It is a great additional space for family and friends, especially with the interconnecting door, or it could be used to create some additional income.



Outside

The garden is at the side and rear of the property and overlooks open countryside. It is level and lawned with some mature shrubs. There is parking for 3-4 cars.



The Location:

The property is located in a very peaceful location on a dead-end lane that leads into the forest and the old mine workings. The cottage itself was originally the mine workers canteen building! It is rural but accessible. The lakeside town of Huelgoat , with its lively weekly market, restaurants, bars and daily amenities is just 5 minutes by car. Larger towns such as Morlaix, with its TGV links , and Carhaix are 30 minutes. Brest airport and the ferry port of Roscoff are under an hour away as are the beaches of the north and west coats.
