Beautiful Bohemian Farmhouse Located a Short Drive From the Sea

This old farmhouse has been lovingly restored and is in a tranquil countryside location and a short drive away from various award-winning beaches.

The traditional calçada (cobblestone) driveway is lined with mature olive trees and rosemary bushes, and there is plenty of parking space for four or five vehicles and even a camper van.

Upon entering the house you will find a spacious open plan living room with cosy lounge, dining area and adjacent kitchen.  The kitchen has a central island which features an AGA cast-iron cooker and plenty of work space. Opening off here the kitchen extends to a pretty alcove with a double farmhouse-style stone sink, fridges and more storage space. From the kitchen double doors leading to a shady terrace surrounded by natural stone walls with outside seating and a superb al-fresco dining area.

The grounds of the property are mostly walled and extend to over 17,000 square metres, with plenty of fruit trees and native trees such as almond and carob. There is a small horse stable and outside sheds and the flat land is ideal for horses.

Although this property is surrounded by peaceful countryside it is less than 5km to the coast, golf as well as all amenities.  It is just a short drive to Guia with plenty of local shops and restaurants and only 4km to Algarve Shopping with movies, food court and a great variety of shops. The beachside town of Armação de Pera is about 5 minute drive and the beaches is even closer.  Albufeira Marina is 6km away and Faro airport is a 35 minute drive.
