The property is in a quiet neighborhood 1 km south of the long beach of Chania Bay, between Tavronitis and Kolymbari. It is an old stone residence, which has been fully restored in 2004. The house is arranged over one level and follows the traditional local layout, where all the spaces are connected to each other in a row as well as separately with a central enclosed courtyard.

The plot has a wall and along the frontage there is a metal gate. All the outdoor space is fenced and allows you to have your children safe or to keep your pets there. The large garden of the house is divided into two sections, one in front and one behind the residence. The two sections are separated by a high wall and are connected by a door, so that the back side has complete tranquility and privacy. Both parts of the garden are enough and suitable for the construction of a swimming pool. Among other things, we find a small storehouse for wood for the stove as well as a good-sized parking space.

The property is an excellent choice for a holiday home while with small additions it can become fully functional for accommodation all year round. It has high ceilings with wooden lining inside, full kitchen with spacious counter as well as aluminum doors and windows with screens and double glazing.

The area is mildly developed and around the village there are olive groves and lots of greenery. The nearby beach is pebbly and has areas with facilities but its largest part remains fairly quiet all year round. Within walking distance you will also find restaurants, supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy and some other stores. Within 5 minutes' drive is the small town Kolymbari, where you can find banks, many taverns, schools of all levels and more. The city and the airport of Chania are about 25 and 35 minutes' drive, respectively.
