Take the A49 north from Ludlow, then after Craven Arms turn left on the A489 signed Welshpool and Newtown. Take the right hand turn towards Wentnor just after the left turn to Bishops Castle. From Bishops Castle - take the B4383 on the north side of the town and continue to a T-junction, turn left and then very quickly right for Newton, carry on and take the first turning right for Norbury. Follow this road for about 2 miles, taking the second turning right for Wentnor and just before the pub 'Inn on the Green', turn right and travel to Wentnor. At the T-junction turn left, proceed past the pub and then take the right turning for Prolley Moor. Follow this road and then down a steep bank to a crossroads and turn right signed 'Asterton'. Take the first right turning down an access road to the end and the entrance will be seen on the right.
