Orchard Dean is a particularly picturesque development of exclusive homes built by Archstone Lifestyle Homes under their Leisure Years Developments. Meticulously maintained, the close is very pretty and very conveniently close to the town centre.

The property is over two levels and situated in the centre of the development. The front door on the lower ground floor leads to a large entrance hall. There is storage under the stairs and access to the integrated garage.

Stairs take us to the upper ground floor landing, which has a shower room with WC and basin, access to the living rooms and dining room and further stairs rising to the first floor. The living room sits within the attractive curved section of the home, with tall classically presented windows and two sets of double doors to the garden. There is fitted storage, and a feature mantelpiece and surround for an electric fire.

The dining room is adjacent to both the kitchen and the conservatory. A tiled stone floor continues through all three spaces. The kitchen is fitted with solid-wood cream units and a granite worktop. There is a chest-level oven as well as integrated microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The hob is gas with extractor above. The conservatory is a great size, with a bank of storage cupboards, both manual and electric blinds and double doors to the private garden.

On the 1st floor, the main bedroom enjoys the same curved wall as below, with three large windows allowing lots of light in. There is a fitted triple wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom is a small double, with built in wardrobe. The third bedroom was used as a study, and has a built-in wardrobe.

Completing this floor is a bathroom with basin, bidet, toilet and bath. There are also cupboards housing the boiler and and pressurised water tank system.

Outside, the private enclosed garden wraps around the side and rear of the house. It is low maintenance and very nicely landscaped, with attractive paved areas and mature planting. A gate leads to rear access. Beyond this is a secure gate that leads through to a path directly onto West Street.
