The former Manor House now Buckland Manor Hotel is a well-regarded country house boutique hotel offering superb meals, afternoon tea, croquet and tennis in the summer. St Michael’s church in the heart of the village has fabric dating back to the 13th Century. The village is set below the Cotswold escarpment and the surrounding countryside offers superb walks and riding. Everyday shopping needs are met in Broadway (approx.4 minute drive/30 minute walk) which has restaurants, cafes, Broadway Deli, supermarket, post office, butcher, health centre and The Lygon Arms with spa and gym. Further facilities are available in Winchcombe, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon. Road and rail communications are excellent with the M5 Junction 9 at Tewkesbury and trains to London Paddington from Evesham, Honeybourne and Moreton-in-Marsh.
