Description
Prispen House is an impressive private residential development designed to reflect the architecture of the original village Rectory. Sadly, the old building was destroyed by fire in 1990 and was rebuilt in 2002 as a new development and one large building comprising a mix of nine townhouses and six apartments. Each property has either an integral garage or an allocated garage situated on the east side and there is also a designated parking space for each property to the south of the building. Several spaces are also allocated for visitors parking and emergency vehicle access. Prispen House is set in extensive and very attractive communal grounds overlooking the village, with views towards Exmoor and Dartmoor from upper floors and heightened ground levels. These grounds are for the exclusive use of all the residents' at Prispen House.

I am not in the habit of giving 5* but on this occasion I am.
I have had the pleasure of dealing with Burgoynes twice over the past 15yrs.
Firstly I sold my property and remember how helpful and efficient they were then.
This time, coincidentally, I bought from them and had the same amazing treatment but as a buyer!
Big thank you to Jemma and Steph who are a credit to the company. Kept me informed and nothing was ever any trouble.
So lovely to have 5* treatment these days.

From start to finish, the team at Burgoyne's were excellent. At the initial viewing they clearly knew the property well and showed us around, rather than simply letting us in and allowing us to look around (which was not always the case for us when viewing properties). The communication from then on was excellent, always very responsive either by phone or by e-mail, and they kept us in the loop throughout. This was our first house purchase, and we were very pleased (and pleasantly surpised) by how smooth and stress free it was. We would use Burgoyne's again, and have recommended them to others already.
