About Chartford Developments
Chartford Homes have been designing and building high quality homes for 20 years.
Beautiful Homes built in the locations you want.
Our History
Chartford Homes began life as a commercial property company in the early 1990’s, founded by Matthew Fuller and soon joined by long time college friend and fellow Chartered Surveyor, Neil Clark who together created a thriving and well-respected business. Chartford began building houses only a few years later when they were joined by major investor, Norman Stubbs who brought decades of experience in the housebuilding industry. Having first worked at the small Leeds builder Bracken construction (later sold to Barratts) he then co-founded and successfully grew the Leeds housebuilding company Tay Homes through to PLC status. Tay Homes was a major player in the North of England housing market before being acquired by Redrow. Chartford have now successfully been building houses in and around Leeds and Yorkshire for over 20 years and we pride ourselves in the quality of our homes and the service we provide.
About Us
Chartford Homes have a depth of experience within our team, who produce excellent homes within the budget you are looking for and offer the lifestyle you dream of. We work tirelessly with the planning authority and community, to achieve the best possible enhancement of the local area. Each individual home is designed with its own character to suit its position within a scheme and wherever possible, natural features such as trees and stone walls are retained, where necessary historic buildings are restored and new features, such as children’s play areas and open spaces are created to add more than just housing, more a place to live. Located in only the best locations, whether rural or urban, we build all sizes of homes, from first time buyer properties to family homes each utilizing the honed skills of our craftsmen to bring excellent design to our customers.
Chartford homes are built using materials, fixtures and fittings specifically selected for their quality, reliability and value, assuring purchasers of the latest features without pricing the home out of reach. Using the very latest technology, Chartford Homes’ designers can incorporate modern structural and heating specifications to create homes which are well built, comfortable and economic to run. The high standards of care devoted to design are extended through to construction. We aim to build you the home you want, in the locations you love.
