Sometimes a home comes to the open market and you wish you were in a position to buy.....why, because these little gems don't come up that often......and No.18 Moorfield Road in Hawarden is one of these homes you don't want to miss out on.

Located at the head of a quiet Cul-de-Sac in Hawarden is this beautiful detached three bedroom bungalow. It offers everything that you could possible want in a home, generous living accommodation throughout, a fabulous modern stylish kitchen that leads through to an open-plan dining area.

Pulling up outside, there's a couple of large conifers that shelter the home, whilst setting the boundaries. A large area of cream shingle provides ample space for parking a few cars on it, with a detached garage to one side. Now this offers space for one more vehicle or as most people like to use them today, a great storage facility.

Walking through the twin frosted glass front doors, you can't help but notice how nice and bright the large entrance hallway is. A gorgeous original parquet floor offers a touch of elegance while solid wooden doors open to reveal the generous living quarters.

The first room we walk into is the modern stylish kitchen. Floor and wall mounted storage units provide space for all your essentials and worksurfaces cover two walls and provide ample space for food preparation. An integrated fridge / freezer and built in oven with electric hob above and stainless steel extractor will all help bring your culinary skills to life. A window in front of the skink means you'll be able to enjoy the garden while you do the dishes, however there is an integrated dishwasher, for when you're feeling lazy.

The kitchen then opens into the dining area where the parquet flooring continues again. This is a nice bright double aspect room with large patio doors that open into the rear garden and patio area. Another opening leads through into the Lounge.

A large window looks out over the front aspect and allows ample light in, this is a very bright and spacious home. The parquet theme flows into this room and where the chimney stack sits, a rather nice inbuilt real flame electric fire now sits, to provide a rather cosy and romantic atmosphere during the winter nights. A stylish wooden door with frosted glass panels opens back into the entrance hallway.

There are three bedrooms, all doubles, the two main bedrooms are pretty much the same size, one looks out over the front and the other to the rear, so it's a case of which way you want to face, dictates which room you choose. Both can fit large beds in with a choice of free standing furniture to accompany it.

The smallest bedroom is another good size and makes a very good single bedroom, even though you can squeeze a double in there. I personally think it lends itself to a better large single bedroom, with space then to move around in.

The family bathroom offers everything that you can possibaly want, a bath and a separate shower cubicle. With floor to ceiling tiles, it makes for easy cleaning, dual windows allow ample light in while the frost glass keeps prying eyes out, although it's not that kind of area. You have your usual suspects in here that you'd expect to find, a snazzy wall mounted sink with chrome mixer, and then your obligatory toilet. The must have chromed heated towel rail fits between the two windows and will help keep your towels nice and toasty during the winter months.

The outside space is split into sections at the moment, and drops down to a lower level too. Flanked by very high conifer hedgerows, one section is given over to a gravel area, while the next has been kitted out with the latest easy to maintain fake grass. The final area drops down a few steps into a large patio area with a very large summer house. This could be turned into a verity of uses ranging from thh rather boring garden furniture store area to a more funky barm come hot-tub live your life in the fast lane area.....I know which I'd prefer, if only my wife would let me.....more useful storage!!!

All in all, this is a dream home, the location is perfect, it's ideal for entertaining friends and family in style, the space inside is fantastic, the room layout is superb, the style of the interior is spot on, the outside is just the right size, and the detached garage is the piece de resistance......if I could retire tomorrow, then this would be the home that I would choose to do it in.....a real touch of class and a price you can afford too,
