Description
1 Ferry Cottage is a delightful category ‘C’ listed Cottage which consists of a single storey to the street (W elevation), with a full 2 storeys to the shore. The original date of the cottages is not known, but it is likely that they date to the earlier-mid 19th century. Ardentinny is the subject of popular early mid century song by Sir Harry Lauder ‘O’er the Hill to Ardentinny.
The accommodation at 1 Ferry Cottage is laid across two easily managed light and bright levels, with all front facing rooms enjoying completely uninterrupted waterscape views across Loch Long. The property is of white painted stone construction with light blue painted detailing at door and window mullions, all of which is neatly presented under a dark grey slate roof.
Ardentinny is also a well-known west of Scotland holiday and short break destination and so the property offers considerable scope as a second, or income producing self-catering holiday letting home.
