There’s so many reasons I love living here, the position is perfect…… Every time I come home and see the Brecon Beacons it takes my breath away. Being located on a no through road, so it’s peaceful and safe. To the left it’s a beautiful few minutes walk along the River Usk into Brecon Town and to the right a gorgeous walk to Brecon Promenade. From the top room I love watching the green bowls which is right behind the cottage.
My grand children love coming to stay, being riverside they can paddle, swim and skim stones into the lovely river and they also love the children’s play park which is close by. We have the sun all day long so it’s perfect for entertaining in my garden. The community in Brecon has been so welcoming to me. There is so much going on and I can walk everywhere easily and enjoy open mic nights, live music, theatre, cinema, and the leisure centre. I’m so sad to leave but regretfully need to relocate nearer my ageing p
