A plot of land to the rear of 185 Grovehill Road approximately 0.11 acres in total and held under title YEA77445 .  We are informed that the land was kept to be the builder of Nos 181-191 Grovehill Road and passed through the family, being retained by them when No 185 was sold by them.  The current owner no longer has a use for it.  Planning permission for a single dwelling was sought  and refused in 2023 and the case can be found on the East Riding of Yorkshire planning portal under the reference 22/03412/PLF.  The owner has decided to sell the property as he and his family no longer live in the area.  The area has been used as a garden before.  The land is accessed vi a 10 foot located between Nos 191 and 193 Grovehill Road and has right of access over it.

Land to the North of 187 Grovehill Road is a site measuring 0.58Ha in size located to the east of Beverley Town Centre at the rear of 187 Grovehill Road. The site comprises vacant land that was formerly used as a paddock and is accessed via a trackway off Grovehill Road.

The site is designated for ‘existing open space’ in the East Riding Local Plan Strategy Document, but the replacement East Riding of Yorkshire Local Plan Update proposes to remove this designation the ‘existing open space’ designation from the site. The removal of this public open space designation will remove the only formal designation on the site, which will allow for a wider range of uses to be potentially allowed on site.

The adoption of the Local Plan Update is scheduled for April 2025, which will formally remove this designation.
