Charndon is a hamlet and civil parish in the Aylesbury Vale District of Buckinghamshire.  Situated just over 7 miles from the market towns of Bicester and in the opposite direction  Buckingham. Charndon has its own community centre with grounds that host a variety of exercise and recreational facilities.  There are a number of general stores and a local run community coffee shop close by in Twyford and an Italian restaurant and public house all within a 5 mile radius and of course the market towns close by offer a wider range of retail & recreational facilities.   With a selection of three primary schools all within 3 miles, a secondary school at Bicester and a Ofsted Outstanding rated Grammar school in Aylesbury the area is well catered for. 

There is a bus service operating to the local villages and towns and the rail stations at Bicester serve Oxford City, London Marylebone and Birmingham.  There is also good access to the M40/A34 road network.
