Outside there is a large deck overlooking the surrounding countryside and resort facilities. There is a hot tub set in an enclosed area to the side of the lodge. In addition there are 2 parking spaces.

Finlake is a highly regarded resort which offers a multitude of activities, for lovers of the great outdoors there is pony trecking, archery, lakes for fishing and watersports. For those who like creature comforts there is a luxury Thalasso spa, with herbal steam rooms and jacuzzi. Within the main complex the gym has just been refitted with an array of high tech equipment and there are many classes from yogo to HIIT. The main indoor pool is a particular attraction and is part of a water park which caters for all ages. The outdoor pool is heated and is adjacent to the main bar and restaurant. The park also benefits from a cafe bars and a shop.

The surrounding area is popular with visitors all year around. The park is located a few minutes from the A38, close to Bovey Tracey - the gateway to Dartmoor National park and home to many independent cafes and shops. Dartmoor draws walkers, mountain bikers, climbers and anyone who is looking to get away from it all to an unspoiled area which can be peaceful and wild. The coast is approximately 20 minutes away, with vast stretches of sand and traditional seaside towns.  Exeter and Plymouth are the nearest cities, both easily accessible.
