A high speed train service runs between London St Pancras and Ashford in about 37 minutes. Trains from Headcorn to London Bridge, Waterloo East, Charing Cross and Cannon Street in about 65 minutes.

The M25 can be accessed via the M20 at junction 10 providing links to Gatwick and Heathrow airports and other motorway networks.

From Tenterden High Street (A28) head through St Michaels to the village of High Halden. In the centre opposite The Chequers Inn turn right onto Church Hill and proceed passing the primary school. At the bottom of the lane turn right in to Harbourne Lane and after a short distance turn left onto a shared private lane and Tiffenden Cottage will be found immediately on the right hand side.
