The finish is to a high specification, with good quality fixtures and fittings, including some features that were hand-crafted in oak. there are reclaimed terracotta tiles throughout the kitchen and main living areas..

MODERN TOUCHES

Since moving in they have made a few enhancements of their own to the property. The previous owners had converted a former workshop on the side of the car port into a gym and redecorating inside the main house. FAMILY LIVING

EASY FLOW

The substantial drawing and dining room spaces are separated by the large brick fireplace and have French windows on to the terrace. This works brilliantly if you have lots of people round as they can move easily between the spaces and then out into the garden on warm days or for barbecues. Having the kitchen and utility room close to the dining area and benefitting from a door on to the garden also enhances the sense of flow.

UNIQUE PLACE

Sitting comfortably within its mature, leafy grounds, Powells Barn enjoys something of a semi-rural setting. It is very peaceful when we are sitting out in the sunshine and it is also nice to be able to head straight out from home for a walk along the North Bucks Way. At the same time, to get to the centre of Milton Keynes it takes just about 10 minutes to commute in the mornings. It is about the same distance to the train station, for those wishing to be able to travel into London, and there is also the option of going from Bletchley; you would also be well placed for access to the M1, M40 and major A roads.

Powells Barn is a home for all seasons, with its roaring wood-burner for relaxing next to in the colder months and its beautiful garden to enjoy in spring and summer.
