Description
Situated in the lovely village of Uphill is a wonderful five-bedroom semi-detached family home. Entering through the hardwood door with stained glass detailing there is a light hallway leading onto a spacious living room, kitchen and separate dining room. The dual-aspect living room is neutrally decorated and features a log burner with a stylish oak beam mantle above. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with a toilet, hand basin, and cupboard under the stairs. The separate dining room has a large bay window which faces the front of the property. The L-shaped kitchen can be found at the end of the hallway featuring handmade pine walls and base units, as well as space for a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The double patio doors provide access to the back garden.
At the top of the stairs, you are greeted with a modern family shower room, with a walk-in shower and hand basin plus a separate neighbouring toilet. There are four good-sized bedrooms on this floor, the two largest at the front. Three are large enough for double beds, although one is currently used as a music room. The fourth is a single bedroom but could also make a perfect home office. There is a further staircase leading to the main bedroom on the top floor. This comprises a large double bedroom with Velux windows to front and back and a separate three-piece suite with bath and shower over bath. The bathroom also has a large Velux window with views over Uphill Church. The top landing also has a Velux window and door leading to further eaves storage.
The south-east facing back garden is kept low maintenance with a patio leading out from the kitchen doors. Wrapping around to the side of the property is a gravelled area with stepping stones and flower boarders leading to a pond and a further patio perfect for a table and chairs to enjoy alfresco dining in the summer evenings. Continuing on up a few steps is a further gravelled area, surrounded by mature shrubbery, creating a lovely private and secure garden. To the front of the property is parking for a number of cars and access to a single garage.

Or Vendor says ...
This is a lovely, family home where we brought up our children and cared for an elderly relative. It's lovely position near the beach, in a quiet road. The village as a whole is very friendly and we have made lots of friends and acquaintances.
