This exquisite property has now been transformed into a stylish home. Just a short walk to the beach at Ayrmer Cove and breathtaking local walks.
ACCOMODATION
Steps lead up the side of the property, passing the access to the cellar to what is the back door but used as the main entrance. A small lobby, with a boot room/guest wc, provides access to a modern kitchen with an array of base and wall units, and a delightful dining room with walk-in cupboards. Off the dining room are two bright and spacious receptions. The smaller of the two, the Snug, has a dual aspect with garden views and a feature fireplace. The sitting room has a garden aspect, with the original front entrance, exposed ceiling beams, a charming open grate fireplace and access to the first floor via a turret staircase. The first floor provides 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom, the master bedroom with a modern ensuite bathroom. The unique nature of this first floor landing is the continuation of the turret staircase up to the 2nd floor and a further set of stairs leading up to another bedroom. The 2nd floor is arranged with 2 further bedrooms, both enjoying vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, and a contemporary bathroom.
OUTSIDE
To the front of the property is a delightful mature garden with lawn, patio area, planted borders and a perimeter stone wall. At the rear of the property is a large stone outbuilding consisting an open garden store, a workshop and a lean-to with an outside wc. Above the kitchen, with external steps from the side of the farmhouse, is the “Old Apple Store”, providing additional storage and services. Parking is located alongside the garden within the original farm courtyard.
