Situation and Schooling

Shefford is a market town with a population of around 7,300 people, sitting on the point where the rivers Hit and Flit meet to become the Ivel. The town has a range of shops and facilities as well as restaurants and coffee shops. Schools include Samuel Whitbread Academy (Ofsted Good,13 - 18 years) and Robert Bloomfield Academy (Ofsted Outstanding, 9 -13 years) and Shefford Lower School (Ofsted Good, 3 -9 years).
