Ref. DA 117 - An ancient farmhouse from the 1600s in the heart of the purest and most authentic Valle d'Itria. This splendid rural complex covering a total of 338 square meters is located in the countryside of Martina Franca, in the province of Taranto, Puglia.

The property, spanning 44 hectares, consists mainly of areas intended for cultivation and pasture, but also includes a wooded area characteristic of the Salento delle Murge (or Murgia Tarantina).

The main body of the property consists of the farmhouse, an ancient two-story rural building, surrounded by a complex of 8 well-preserved conical trulli, 3 other sloping-roof buildings, and 2 partially ruined trulli.

In excellent condition, the trulli formerly served as stables for livestock farming, a typical activity of the area. Inside, in fact, in addition to the wonderful cone-shaped vaults, the ancient stone troughs are perfectly preserved, along with wide sections of prestigious paved floors made of smoothed local stone.

As tradition dictates, the farmhouse is situated in a prestigious panoramic position compared to the rest of the area: located atop a hill, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, with olive groves and the chimneys of the many ancient trulli that dot the area.
