There is a wildlife area at Kiln Meadow, one pub The Fox, with a second pub, The Tavern, now under community ownership and planned for reopening to serve the local community.

 


Elmswell was named Suffolk's village of the year in 2008 beating Cockfield and Fressingfield into second and third place respectively and retains a warm community feel.
