Brooklands is a popular and conveniently located street in Bridgetown being a short walk across the river Dart from Totnes.

On the first floor are two double bedrooms, the one at the front is very large with a pretty Victorian fireplace, and the second bedroom room also has a lovely fireplace plus wonderful views across the town to the hills beyond. With double glazed sash windows they are very quiet and being a cul de sac it is always a peaceful road. There is also the family bathroom with shower extension over the bath and heated towel rail. The Glow Worm gas fired boiler is housed in a cupboard here too.

Further stairs lead up to Bedroom 3 which is open to the eaves and provides a good sized double which is gloriously light with 2 veluxes to the rear. There is a plenty of cupboard space and it is a lovely room again benefitting from fabulous views across the town and beyond.

Outside to the back of the house there is a nice patio area with space for a table and seating perfect for alfresco dining, and across a shared pathway is the long and pretty garden which has a number of mature fruit trees, borders and lawn. At the end are steps down to a shed and there is also a useful area for storing the bins etc.

Situated just up from Bridgetown Stores, it is just a 5 minute walk across the river to The Plains and the bottom of Fore Street. Totnes originally a medieval market town is surrounded by the beautiful rolling countryside of the South Hams. Located at the head of the River Dart this unique town has a worldwide reputation for its lively, diverse community and relaxed atmosphere. Always busy and bustling there are pleny of restaurants, bars and pubs as well as many independent shops.

Totnes main Line Train Station is approximately a 15 minute walk away with its direct connection to London Paddington (approx. 2hr 45mins) Exeter St Davids (approx. 35 mins) and Plymouth (approx. 30mins). Exeter Airport is 30 miles away (approx. 40mins) giving direct flights to London, UK and Europe. The A38 giving access to the motorway network is about a 10 minute drive.
