Description

UNDER OFFER
Message from our Seller: 2 Inglewood Gardens has provided us with a wonderful home for the last eight and a half years. It has offered us spacious accommodation enabling us to maximise the flexibility offered by the property’s lay-out and design.
This has been our home and work-space, and from the beginning, giving us the opportunity internally to add our own character and life-style choices.
The attraction of the garden was obvious and let us live the good life with the various spaces we created providing the opportunity for relaxation, exercise and entertaining. The return on our work and effort in the garden area has been one of the most rewarding aspects of our stay in Inglewood Gardens.
The natural surroundings, privacy and accessibility to Alloa town centre and other facilities such as rail and bus services have made it the complete package for us and it will be difficult to match our experience and enjoyment in our next home.

Inglewood Gardens enjoys a superb woodland setting by Inglewood House. The location feels incredibly quiet and secluded, tucked away along a private cul-de sac, with a selection of individually constructed detached homes. The setting is within easy walking distance of Alloa town centre, railway station and bus stops.
The house sits behind a neat lawn and a generous driveway sits to one side, with paving that guides towards the entrance. The front door leads to a bright hallway, with a smart staircase to one side, two bedrooms to the right-hand side and a guest shower room ahead. Tucked around the lower hallway is a useful utility area with internal access to the large garage. The front bedroom, currently used as a home office, has a bay window which invites in a huge amount of light throughout the day.
The additional bedrooms and living space are connected via a stairwell that leads to a sizeable upper landing. The front facing reception area has an airy and bright feel. It is a generously proportioned area that lends well to versatile contemporary living. Light flows into the room from immense glazing via two side windows and sliding doors that connects to a balcony terrace, bridging the divide between indoors and out. An electric fire with feature mantlepiece sits centrally.
The kitchen feels perfectly in keeping with the modern interior aesthetic while retaining a generous provision of space for cooking and food preparation. Clean lines of bespoke cabinetry create plenty of storage and neatly conceal the appliances. A velux window is installed in the roof space and sliding doors provides an exit point to the gardens. This is a wonderfully warm pocket of the house: a naturally inviting space to sit and read overlooking the gardens.

The current dining room is positioned off the upper hallway which has access to a Jack and Jill Shower room. It’s a great entertaining space with a window which frames snapshots of layer-upon-layer of woodland to the rear.
A further two bedrooms are located off the upper landing, both being incredibly quiet and peaceful rooms. The front bedroom has access to the main four-piece family bathroom, also accessed off the upper landing and has a fantastic walk-in dressing room. The rear bedroom has access to the Jack and Jill shower room, has a fitted wardrobe and has leafy views across the gardens. A loft with flooring, power and lighting is accessed from the upper landing.

The house is surrounded by stunning established and productive gardens, some of which are sloped and some of which are level where seating areas have been thoughtfully placed to enjoy the sensory joys of the natural surroundings. The woodland attracts a great diversity of local birdlife. Fruit and vegetable planters are positioned at the top side of the garden and various apple and plum trees are dotted about the outdoor space. There is a shed and a greenhouse.
A double garage at the entrance with roller door sits at the front and a driveway offers plenty of private parking.
An outstanding home in prime location. Viewings can be booked via the selling agents, Slater Hogg & Howison.
