Some words from the current owners
“We like the tree-lined hill with individual styles of house on Parrock Road. Most amenities are available a stone's throw away on Echo Square. There is also a bus stop on the doorstep. The local town and train station are just a 10-minute walk away. Several primary and secondary schools are in the nearby vicinity.
My wife lived at the bottom of Parrock Avenue from a toddler to an adult and it was a childhood dream to one day own the property.
The renovations we have made to the property have been vast. Doors and walls were blocked up / moved, and antiquated fitted furnishings were removed from all bedrooms, creating luxurious bedrooms. Master with a contemporary en-suite, quite a show stopper if I should say so myself! The kitchen was fully fitted four years ago, shaker style to fit with the period of the property. Traditional cosy comfortable lounge with top-end window coverings. Magnificent hallway, decorated to high spec to set the tone for the rest of the property.
We have lived here for 6 years, a very convenient home with both our sons attending the boys' Grammar school early on.
We are so very proud of our quintessential English ornate wrap-around garden, tended to by a very reliable gardener once a week. We do often have curious walkers popping their heads over the fence to admire what the garden has to offer.
Our home looks picture postcard in the spring and summer months when the garden is at its best and like a Victorian Christmas card, decorated fittingly for the festive season.
We will be sad to leave but time for another family to embrace all that our special property has to offer.”
