We moved to Kidwells Close in December 2015 as a young professional couple into this new build development. We have spent nearly 9 happy years here, got engaged, married and had our first child here in late 2022 - but it is time for someone else to enjoy this prime location apartment. 
 
Being a new build and a blank canvas, we have made some changes to the apartment including most noticeable designed and hand-build storage in the open plan living room. This was built in mid 2022 to allow us more space for the arrival of our daughter. We have also added white Victorian style tiles in the kitchen and extra shelving in both cupboards that other apartments may not have. We have loved the two built-in wardrobes and ensuite in the main bedroom. The floor to-ceiling windows allows so much light into the rooms still maintaining privacy due to the flat’s location. This was one of the main factors and why we love the flat.
 
Another great factor that we enjoy, is the private walled outdoor space. We have looked after it every other year by painting, maintaining the decking and ensuring it is in good condition. The patio is a real suntrap with a prime south facing view over Kidwells Park. Of course it’s the perfect place for a summer nights dinner and to enjoying the music and fireworks display of Maidenhead Festival from the comfort of our home.
 
We choose Maidenhead and this estate having worked in the area and watched the development being built over time, we thought this was the perfect place to buy our first property. When we first arrived we throw a “flat warming” party and made friends for life. There is a fantastic community in Medway House and we have seen neighbour’s children grow up and also been to weddings. The parties and gatherings have continued on occasions over the years for the coronation and jubilee. Some of the communal gardens flowerbeds are now maintained by neighbours and we are proud to live here.
 
Medway House is in a fantastic location, over the past 9 years we have at times needed to commute into London and have seen the town centre change with more restaurants like Coppa Club, Sauce & Flour and Seasonality which are in staggering distance. We love walking through Kidwells Park and the North Town Moor to get into the town centre or to the River Thames.

Wow, my lovely owners have perfectly summed up this place and the surrounding area! It's genuinely a very lovely apartment and not your run-of-the-mill two bed. It will make a lovely first home or even a buy-to-let investment for someone.

Medway House is on the edge of Maidenhead town centre and Kidwells Park, which has its own tennis courts, play park and is only just half a mile from the train station, the M4 & M40 motorways are just round the corner as well.
