An amazing tower of 17-19th century (three building phases). Renovation from 2014-2022 with complete in extent and depth reconstruction that includes: demolition of joints and jointing, cement grouts, hidden scripts on two levels and throughout the building, hollow beams, chestnut wood of Mount Athos in all handmade frames (interior and exterior), oak stairs and intermediate floor. Parapet with battlements, second terrace, two gardens. A total of 306 square meters, seven external doors. Energy glazing. Unlimited views of the bay of Skoutari and the mountains. The distance from sea is twelve minutes’ walk. The tower is located at the top of the village overlooking the bay. It is in an extremely quiet neighborhood, very discreet but with direct access to mini markets and restaurants.

LOCATION
Mani, the southernmost and middle peninsula of the Peloponnese or Morea, straddling the districts of Lakonia and Messenia in southern Greece, is a treasure trove of Byzantine and post Byzantine churches, Frankish castles and stunning scenery. To this day the architecture of the area is famed for the tower houses and fortified family dwellings from the period of the Ottoman occupation of Greece.
