Description
Description
Mayfield Grange is a small gated community of modern luxury houses and apartments providing secure and convenient country living on the rural outskirts of the historic village of Mayfield. The properties are set within the superb grounds of the Grade II listed former Mayfield College, which extend to about 20 acres in all.
54 Mayfield Grange is set on first floor of the St Bartholomew’s building at Mayfield Grange, enjoying views from the private balconies over the communal gardens (formerly a sports and cricket pitch) to the countryside beyond.
The open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room is particularly impressive. The stylishly appointed kitchen has porcelain tiled flooring, Quartz worktops, and modern high-gloss kitchen units, providing plenty of storage and preparation space together with a breakfast bar, for more informal dining. Integrated appliances include a multifunctional oven, microwave, Quooker tap, coffee machine, fridge freezer, washing machine, and gas hob. The dining area provides ample room for a family-sized dining table, with a large window offering far-reaching views across the communal gardens. The spacious sitting room, accessed both from the open plan kitchen/dining room and the hallway, enjoys double doors opening to both the rear and side balconies, which are ideal for alfresco dining, with delightful views.
The well-appointed principal bedroom also enjoys a balcony with south-westerly views to the communal garden, together with two sets of mirror-fronted fitted wardrobes and an en suite bathroom with a separate walk-in shower. There are two further double bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes and one enjoying an en suite shower room. There is also a modern family shower room. Two shelved cupboards, located in the hallway, offer further useful storage, together with space for a convection dryer.
Notably, 54 Mayfield Grange also benefits from two allocated undercroft parking spaces, together with a useful secure storage area accessed from the car park and lift to all floors.
The extensive and impressive communal grounds expand to about 20 acres in total, and include formal gardens, woodland, a former cricket pitch and access to the residents' gym. From the grounds, one can also enjoy the local network of footpaths and countryside walks.
