The property is Grade II* listed, due to Fortfield Terraces historical importance, constructed in the late 1700's, the property was occupied in 1831 by the Grand Duchess Helena of Russia which was commemorated with a double headed eagle, symbol of Imperial Russia which can still be seen within the terrace today.
