Tersefanou

Tersefanou is located around 10 minutes drive from Larnaca on the southern coast of Cyprus. It is easily accessed from either the motorway (highway) exit at the Klavia/Tersefanou junction 42 or from Larnaca via the village of Kiti. Tersefanou is a very traditional small Cypriot community with a handful of Taverna’s, a school, town hall and church. Life in the village is as it has been for many years with little sign of impact that tourism traditionally brings to many areas in the Mediterranean. The centre of the village, although enhanced in the last few years, still retains it traditional coffee shops and small grocery traders. The village really is a step back in time to old Cyprus with traditional wood shutters on flat roofed single storey homes. The town hall is at the centre of the village with the splendid village church.
