The estate is less than 10 minutes drive to the city centre or around half an hour on the bus, with a bus stop nearby on Wigton Road.

This may be the perfect place for couples with grown up children who’ve flown the nest but it’s still good to know there’s a great choice of local schools nearby. 

Newlaithes Junior School (rated “Good” by Ofsted) is closest. It’s less than a 5 minute drive away. 

Richard Rose Academy is even closer, so teenagers will only have a short 10 minute walk or a 3 minute bike ride to reach the school.

This is a modern family home which has been very well looked after and tastefully improved by the current owners. 

It’s got a versatile layout with a fantastic social space on the ground floor and room for everyone to go off and do their own thing upstairs.
