Approaching Saundersfoot from the north, take the A478 down from Kilgetty and ignore all of the signposted turns for Saundersfoot until you reach the roundabout just before the village of New Hedges. Take the first exit here signposted from Saundersfoot and proceed down the hill.
As you reach the bottom of the hill you pass Cwm Gwennol on your right hand side and then spot a sign for Swallow Tree Gardens, again on the right. Turn right there and after just 20 yards, turn right again into a small lane signed ‘no through road’. Continue to the top and bear left. Bear left again, proceeding along wooded lane, all the way to the end until you reach the pillars on the right which is the driveway leading you into The Retreat.
