In summertime Salema Beach is a popular family destination and there are a few restaurants and beach cafes. In winter Salema is a popular surfing spot and the well known year-round surfable beaches of Sagres are only 20 minutes away.
Salema, a kind of insider tip, is located on a quiet and wind-protected bay between the somewhat more crowded centers of Lagos in the east and Sagres in the most western part of the Algarve. Lagos with the infrastructure of banks, schools, doctors, hospitals, shopping malls, marina and plenty of restaurants, bars and nightlife is only 30 minutes away by car.
The house is 20 years old and has not been uninhabited for two years. It has need for renovation - especially at the three bedrooms and the bathrooms in the basement. A new plastering and painting of the outer walls and a technical update of the heating and photovoltaic system are also essential to be done as well as the fixing of the pool.
