This family home is in a wonderful position as the road is a dead end so it is very safe for children and pets. We are close to the tennis courts, bowls club and seafront and within easy walking distance of Birchington station for the high speed train to London, while the village centre includes individual shops, a supermarket, hairdressers, nail bars, vets, a medical centre and excellent pubs/restaurants. There is a good primary school, two secondary schools with grammar and private schools in the nearby Thanet towns and Canterbury.
Sailing and wind surfing clubs are available in nearby Minnis Bay while the Westgate and Birchington Golf Club cater for golfing enthusiasts. There are a number of excellent places to go for walks while cyclists can enjoy the Viking Coastal Trail. There is also a cinema in Westgate, theatres in Ramsgate and Broadstairs and Westwood Cross includes a large shopping centre with a variety of high street stores, a retail park and the Vue cinema complex as well as a casino and numerous restaurants.
