We chose this house over 20 years ago because of the quietness of the village, the welcoming and friendly attitude of the villagers, potential of future development and our love of country walks. There is an abundance in the area, including Watership Down.
The village pub with which our garden shares a boundary is a typical community pub and very gentle. There has never been any rowdiness during or after hours and none of us, our family or friends we have experienced a disturbed nights sleep or any daytime disturbance when working from home.
We will be sad to leave, particularly when we have not completed our plans for the property for which planning has been approved.
