Description

Situated within the sought after Churchdown Village area of Gloucester is this exceptional single storey home has been upgraded by the current owners and really needs to be viewed to be appreciated.

This extended semi detached bungalow offers flexible accommodation that can either offer four bedrooms or two bedrooms along with a home office and second reception room with double doors leading out to the garden.

The current owners have upgraded the home since their purchase in 2020. Amongst other things, changes include adding Karndean flooring in several rooms, a new feature fireplace in the living room with storage and shelving to either side, fitting out the dressing room to the main bedroom, re-fitting the shower rooms, re-fitting the utility room, re-fitting the kitchen/dining room, replacing the gas central heating boiler and replacing two of the external UPVC doors.

They also chose to add further light to two of the rooms by partially raising the height of the ceiling in two of the room along with adding velux windows. These changes were to the utility room and the third bedroom which they use as a second reception room as it offers a view of the garden and has double doors leading out as well.

Initially, you enter the home to a hallway which has an airing cupboard (radiator). The living room measures 11'8 (max) x 15'3. Next to this is a 7'7 x 10'6 room that could be a fourth bedroom but is presently used as a combined music room and home office. There is a 9'11 x 10'4 second bedroom with a re-fitted shower room opposite. Behind this room is the 9'11 x 10'7 room which has been previously mentioned. It could be a third bedroom but the current owners use this lovely, light room as a second reception room overlooking the garden.

The kitchen/dining room has been re-fitted and measures 10'7 x 21'8. It offers space for a dining table and chairs, access out to the garden and the integrated kitchen fitments include an oven, induction hob, integrated dishwasher and mixer tap with boiled water option. There is excellent storage and access out to a covered external store area. From the dining area, there is access to the utility room and the main bedroom.

The 10'7 x 12'7 utility room has been re-fitted and has an integrated freezer, spaces for a fridge/freezer. washing machine and tumble drier plus there is a cupboard housing the gas fired central heating boiler. It has access to outside, storage and a door through to an additional re-fitted shower room which is ideal for guests.

The main bedroom, to the rear of the home is split into two defined areas. The bedroom area is 10'3 x 9'10, is nice and light and has access to the garden. The dressing room is reached from a door from the bedroom area. This measures 7'7 x 7'10 and, across two walls, has fitted wardrobes and storage.

The home is warmed by gas central heating and has double glazing,. To the front, there is off road parking for multiple vehicles and a garden that has been re-designed by the current owners to now be both attractive and low maintenance. To the rear is an established garden which offers areas of lawn and patio as well as a seating area with pergola.

About Us

The company behind O'Connell Property Agents (previously known as Movearound) started in 2007. We've operated successfully in challenging times whether it be floods, a recession or a global pandemic......we go on. We have always been determined to not let our clients down and to do our very best to achieve for them.

We decided to re-brand to offer a clear identity on who we are and what we do.

O'Connell

The company is family owned and run so, it made sense to have that as our name too. We know the areas of Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and the villages of those areas as we've lived and worked in them for decades. So, why not let our family, help your family with your move......

Property

Whether it be sales or lettings and management, property is what we do! We have many years of experience in all different price ranges, ages and types of properties. We can tailor our marketing to what works best for your property. If you can think of it, we're sure we either do it or can do it.

Agents

Our property agents are essentially the 'people' within our company. It's the people that are important at the end of the day. Whilst we have all the marketing tools at our disposal to promote your property, nothing beats someone listening to what you want and then delivering you that as 'your agent'.

Equally so nothing beats 'your agent' then knowing 'your property' to be able to promote it in the best possible light to people who would like to make it their new home or investment. You can even have your own 'personal agent', if you prefer, too.

So, whether you're a Seller, a Landlord, a Buyer or a Tenant, we would love you to get in touch. We want to listen to 'you' and would be delighted if you let our family, help your family.
