With one of the most breath-taking views overlooking the valley of Sintra up to the Moorish Castle, with its history intact and almost one acre twenty of land, stands this 19th century villa in the center of Sintra.
The 19th century had Romanticism as its cultural movement and it represents a stage of unique richness for Portugal.
The magic of Sintra and the exoticism of its landscape was at this time discovered by foreign travellers and by the Portuguese aristocracy. It also became a privileged place for artists like Lord Byron and Eça de Queiroz.
