Why the owner loves the property:
Living in the centre of the town is fantastic. Everything is on your doorstep and you can also be in the open fields on a muddy walk or a sunny stroll just five minutes after leaving the house. Chipping Norton is a great town, that has everything. Everything is there, whether you need to get a pint of milk, a suit dry cleaned, brunch with friends, or to see live comedy, it's got it all. It's really unusual for a town this small to have a theatre, and such a good one, and now Chipping Norton has a lovely new cinema too. So many great cafes have sprung up, and there are also really good, old fashioned pubs that haven't changed in years. It's also handy that four supermarkets are based here, and the doctors' surgery is new and purpose-built, which has made a huge difference to the town. The great thing about having a house arranged on three floors is the feeling of space you get. It also means that you have lovely views across the fields from the top bedroom window. We used the top floor as our bedroom and the middle bedroom as an office. It was great to sit at the desk by the window and watch the world go by on the street, and then go up a floor to sleep with the stars through the window. It's also great to have outside space, this close to the centre of the town, and the back garden is a sun trap.
