Exterior:
There are double wrought-iron gates by the lane that open onto the calçada driveway for off-road parking. From here a path takes you to the pool area that has calçada stone surround with stone rails and balustrades. The pool area looks out over nearby olive orchards and vineyards and then onto the "Germanelos" hills that flank the valley. To the side of the pool is another terrace in an ideal position for alfresco dining or just relaxing. The mature plants, trees and bushes are well-maintained and can be found in all elevations of the plot.
The property is sited on a plot of 890m2. Mains water and electricity are connected at the property and the sewage is handled by a septic tank.

Penela: This sleepy medieval town with its 11th century castle is located approximately 7 minutes drive from the property. Penela has all amenities including bank, supermarket, library, health centre, indoor swimming pool, sports centre, a selection of restaurants/cafés and shops and a farmers market selling local produce on Thursdays.
The city of Coimbra is 30 minutes by car, Tomar (UNESCO World Heritgage Site) is 35 minutes, Porto 90 minutes, Lisbon 120 minutes.
