Location - Blackham is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the Ashdown Forest on the East Sussex and Kent borders, although rural the barn is located midway between the towns of Tunbridge Wells and East Grinstead. There are many farm shops and country pubs within the area as well as leisure activities including riding and walking in the surrounding countryside, local rugby, cricket, hockey and football clubs and golf courses at Royal Ashdown, Piltdown, The East Sussex National, Lingfield and Holtye.
There are both state and private schools in the area at Ashurst, Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead, Tonbridge and Hildenborough.
