When we first viewed this property we knew it would make the ideal family home in the heart of a friendly community the abundance of parking and space throughout the house we knew there and then it would be ideal to raise our family here and we are so grateful we have all these years on.
Upon entering you are greeted with an entrance way leading into our lounge this room is spacious with an abundance of light flowing in through the front. We enjoy our movie nights here as a family.
We have our open plan kitchen/diner. Our modern well equipped kitchen is a great size and ideal for family life with ample room for hosting when we have visitors. There is feature tiling on the walls and our statement work tops.
Outside is our sizeable private enclosed rear garden. During the summer months it receives plenty of sunshine perfect for barbecues and the children to play. It is peaceful and private and we have created many fond memories here. There is a patio area perfect for al fresco dining!
Upstairs you will find three good size bedrooms. We have a spacious family bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
To the front is our driveway for two car parking and a third car if required at the end of the drive. There are grassed areas giving that greenery you will see in the garden city which we love.
Our home is perfectly situated in the heart of Welwyn Garden City, a picturesque town bustling with amenities to include many eateries, bars and shops. There is the Howard Centre, John Lewis and Waitrose to name a few! We have the mainline train station with its high speed links to London within 30 minutes. There are an array of scenic walks nearby, bike trails and local to Stanborough Lakes. We are in the catchment area to excellent local schools. There are various community Centre’s offering classes for the children the amenities are endless. We feel so fortunate to have all of this right on our doorstep.
