Impeccable primary education as it is managed by the town hall. Beautiful schools, maintained, and extracurricular costs half the price of the rest of France. A lower property tax than in the surroundings. Lots of transport, especially in La Défense, but there is a lack of a fast and direct connection to Paris without going through La Défense.

Puteaux borders Neuilly-sur-Seine and Paris (Bois de Boulogne) on the Seine side, Courbevoie in the north (the separation is on the business district of La Défense), Nanterre in the west and Suresnes in the north. South. A large part of the business district of La Défense (which also extends over that of Courbevoie, Nanterre and, since 2010, La Garenne-Colombes) is located in the north of the territory of the municipality: some of the most emblematic buildings de la Défense - the Grande Arche, the Center for New Industries and Technologies (CNIT) and the Les Quatre Temps shopping center - are in Puteaux.
